We designed slightly overwound coils paired with an alnico 5 bar magnet and a mix of pole pieces that included one row of standard adjustable screws and one row of shorter Allen head screw.
What you get is a big, open tone, with a treble emphasis that keeps your pick attack sounding articulate at any level of distortion.
Originally designed as a bridge pickup, the 10k Screamin’ Demon also works great as a neck pickup when paired with a high output humbucker in the bridge.
Pair the Screamin’ Demon bridge with the 59 or Jazz model neck humbuckers for a great 80s setup.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Screamin’ Demon medium output humbucker pickups use an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance, and are available in standard humbucker or Trembucker spacing.
